UD Membrane symposium 2014

Ed and Sharon Rozovsky (UD Chemistry and Biochemistry) organized another great day of membrane biophysics and membrane protein research at UD in May 2014. Each year the symposium features a slate of 8 invited speakers and draws a regional audience of nearly 200 attendees. Past programs can be found here: http://sites.udel.edu/cobre/program/ .

"The Molecular Structure of the Liquid Ordered Phase" published in JACS

Two years and 150,000 SU's on the Anton supercomputer later, we have published our first paper on the liquid-ordered/liquid disordered coexistence in the Journal of the American Chemical Society. See http://dx.doi.org/10.1021/ja4105667 for more info.

Christmas Eve extravaganza

Ed and his wife Deanna prepared a Christmas Eve feast for family, friends, and group members with family far away. Some science was discussed, but mostly we ate drank, and were (very) merry.
